Fox Barrel Cider Company Expands Distribution Into Oregon

Fox Barrel Cider Company has expanded again into two U.S. markets. Mountain Peoples Wine Distributing, based in Grass Valley, will cover Central & Southern California and all of Oregon. Bay Area Distributing, based in Richmond, will supply customers in both Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Both came on board in the last couple of months.

“Having a presence in both distributors’ markets, we are now one step closer to having a handle on the West Coast”, said Bruce Nissen, one of the owners of the small Colfax based company.

Fox Barrel is a growing young company, who released its first product for sale in early 2005. The company is focused on producing high quality ciders using apple juice local to their region. Their products are currently available throughout California and Oregon, and soon to be in Washington. In August, Fox Barrel’s tasting room will be open on the weekends for cider enthusiasts to visit and have a pint.
